How we worked it.
- 1Photographed and documented every test square (10x10 ft) on all four slopes — found code-required bruise density on three of four.
- 2Met the adjuster on-roof, walked the test squares together, and supplied a Xactimate scope that included matching gutters, fascia, and code upgrades.
- 3Carrier reopened the claim at full replacement scope plus ventilation upgrade.
- 4Completed tear-off and re-roof in 2 days with full magnetic sweep and dumpster removal.

Homeowner paid only their $895 deductible. Final scope included new ridge venting, ice & water shield at all penetrations, and matching seamless gutters — at no additional out-of-pocket.
