We don't chase the lowest price, but if a comparable licensed-and-insured competitor beats us with the same scope and materials, we'll review it line-by-line and explain any difference honestly.

Are there any hidden costs?

No. Our estimates spell out tear-off, disposal, decking allowance (per sheet if rot is found), permit, taxes, and any code-required upgrades. The only thing that can change mid-job is rotten deck count, and we photo-document every sheet.

1–3 days for shingles on an average home. 3–5 days for TPO. Tile and metal can take a week. Bigger or steeper homes scale up — we give you a calendar at contract signing.

Try not to. Foot traffic damages granules, cracks tile, and dents metal. If you must (to check after a storm), wear soft-soled shoes and step on rafters, not between them.

How do I clean my gutters safely?

Use a leaf blower from the roof edge or a gutter-scoop on a ladder — never reach overhead. Or add it to a maintenance plan and let us do it.

Should I roof or solar first?

Roof first, always. If your roof has under 10 years of life left, do the roof now so panels aren't removed and reinstalled at $3–5K of avoidable cost.

Will solar void my roof warranty?

Only if the installer punctures the roof without flashing it properly. We do 'solar prep' jobs where we install standoffs and flashing while the roof is open, so any solar contractor can mount panels later without voiding our warranty.
