Roof Doctor NM, LLC ("Roof Doctor NM", "we", "us") is an independent third-party roof inspection and consulting practice in New Mexico. This page explains what we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are not an advertising network — we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
Information we collect
- Contact & property details you submit through the booking form, matching quiz, help-intent forms, or contact requests: name, phone, email, property address, roof type, and notes describing the issue.
- Photos and documents you upload voluntarily (e.g. photos of damage, insurance letters, prior contractor bids for bid review).
- Payment details for paid reports are collected and processed by our payment processor (Stripe). We never see or store full card numbers.
- Basic analytics: pages visited, referring source, device type, and anonymized IP. Used to measure which content actually helps homeowners.
How we use it
- Schedule and deliver the inspection, report, or scope you requested.
- Contact you about your booking (email + SMS if opted in).
- Match you with vetted bidders from our contractor network on request.
- Improve the site, tools, and educational content.
SMS messaging

Who we share with
We share your information only with:
- Service providers that operate the site (hosting, database, email/SMS delivery, payments).
- Contractors in our network — only when you explicitly ask us to match you. We do not share your details with contractors by default, and any referral arrangement is disclosed before introduction.
- Law enforcement or regulators when required by a valid subpoena or court order.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to train third-party advertising models.
Retention
Inspection reports and booking records are retained for 7 years to support any downstream insurance, legal, or resale use. Marketing contacts and quiz submissions are retained for 3 years. You can request earlier deletion at any time.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time. Email roofdoctornm@gmail.com with the subject "Privacy Request". We respond within 30 days. California, Colorado, and Virginia residents have additional rights under CCPA/CPA/VCDPA — the same email address handles those requests.
Cookies & analytics
See our Cookies page for the current list of first- and third-party cookies. We use privacy-respecting analytics (Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization) — no advertising cookies are set unless you interact with a paid campaign.
Security
Data is transmitted over TLS and stored in an encrypted database with row-level access controls. Payment card data is handled by Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1). No system is perfectly secure — if a breach affecting your data occurs, we will notify you as required by NM law.
Children
This site is intended for property owners 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
