Contracted bench · Vetted quarterly · NM only

Who should actually bid your roof.

Once you have a scope, you need 2–3 qualified bidders matched to your roof. Roof Doctor NM maintains contracts and working relationships with a vetted bench of NM roofing companies — small, mid-size, and regional. We match the right shop to your roof system, budget, warranty needs, and timeline.

Why we vet so hard

I've watched too many neighbors sign contracts they didn't understand for roofs they didn't need. That stops with a written report they own.

Hide referral terms

If we introduce a contractor, any referral arrangement is disclosed up front. You decide who bids.

From scope to bids

How you get 2–3 matched bids.

No more guessing which contractors to call. We inspect, write the scope, and match it to the right tier of our contracted NM roofing bench.

01

Inspect the roof

We climb, drone, and thermal-scan the roof, then write a 20-page condition report with photos, moisture readings, and remaining-life estimates.

02

Write the scope

Every material, code reference, and fastener pattern is specified so any contractor can bid the exact same job — apples-to-apples.

03

Match the bench

Roof Doctor NM maintains a contracted and vetted bench of NM roofing companies. We send your scope to 2–3 shops matched to your roof system, budget, warranty needs, and timeline.

04

Review bids together

Bids come back to you directly. We review them for missing line items, inflated pricing, and warranty gaps — then you choose with confidence.

Contracts with bench contractors are for bid access and quality accountability. Any referral arrangement is disclosed before a contractor is introduced.Roof Doctor NM is primarily paid by homeowners for reports; we do not sell, install, or repair roofs.

Bidder-matching FAQ

+Do I have to use your contractors?
No. You own the scope and the report. Take them anywhere. Most homeowners use our matched bench because bids come back faster and cleaner, but there is no lock-in.
+Do you take a kickback?
We may receive a flat referral fee from some vetted contractors — disclosed in writing before we introduce you. It never changes your bid price and we don't upcharge scopes to inflate jobs.
+How many bids will I get?
2–3 per scope. More than three is noise; fewer than two removes the point of comparing. Small repairs sometimes come back as a single bidder if they're the best fit for the tier.
+What if a matched contractor is a bad fit?
Text me. I pull them from the roster for your job and re-match. That's the whole point of an independent inspector holding the bench accountable.

What people say after James walks their roof

Three roofers wanted $32k after the June hailstorm. Roof Doctor NM walked the roof, took 84 photos, and said the hail was cosmetic. Saved me from a fraudulent claim.

Sarah K.Albuquerque · Nob Hill

Under contract on a Corrales house. The pre-purchase report caught two hidden layers the seller's disclosure missed. Got an $18k credit at closing.

David & Elena R.Corrales

Bid review flagged that the 'lifetime warranty' voided if we used the wrong underlayment — which the contractor had specced. Renegotiated the whole scope.
