15+ contracted NM roofing companies · NM only

My contracted NM roofing bench — matched to your roof.

Different roofs need different shops. I maintain contracts and long-standing working relationships with 15+ NM roofing companies across small, mid-size, and regional tiers. After the inspection and scope are done, I match your project to 2–3 bench contractors based on your roof system, budget, warranty needs, and timeline. You choose who to hire.

Independent inspector. Diagnosis comes first — any contractor referral fee is disclosed in writing.
How I choose the right contractor for you

Matched by roof, budget, warranty, and timeline.

The bench isn't a directory. I match your project to the right tier and then to 2–3 specific contractors based on what your roof actually needs.

01

Inspect the roof

We climb, drone, and thermal-scan the roof, then write a 20-page condition report with photos, moisture readings, and remaining-life estimates.

02

Write the scope

Every material, code reference, and fastener pattern is specified so any contractor can bid the exact same job — apples-to-apples.

03

Match the bench

Roof Doctor NM maintains a contracted and vetted bench of NM roofing companies. We send your scope to 2–3 shops matched to your roof system, budget, warranty needs, and timeline.

04

Review bids together

Bids come back to you directly. We review them for missing line items, inflated pricing, and warranty gaps — then you choose with confidence.

Contracts with bench contractors are for bid access and quality accountability. Any referral arrangement is disclosed before a contractor is introduced.Roof Doctor NM is primarily paid by homeowners for reports; we do not sell, install, or repair roofs.

Three tiers, one contracted bench

How I match a contractor to your roof.

Once your inspection is done and the scope is written, I look at complexity, budget, warranty needs, material line, and your timeline — then send the scope to 2–3 bench contractors from the right tier. Bids come back to you directly.

Small · owner-operator

Small shops (1–8 crew).

Fit
Repairs, patchwork, tune-ups, small re-decks, chimney flashings, one-off leak diagnostics.
Warranty & structure
3–5 yr workmanship. Owner often the same person who bid the job — accountability is direct.
Materials
Whatever the manufacturer stocks locally. Rarely a certified installer, so no extended manufacturer warranties.
Best when
You want a leak stopped or a section reflashed without paying overhead for a corporate rep visit.
Watch-outs
Slower to start; booked 3–6 weeks out in storm season; cash-flow sensitive — never pay >25% deposit.
Mid-size · established local

Mid-size (10–40 crew, one location).

Fit
Full residential replacements $12k–$40k. Multi-plane shingle, tile tear-off and reset, TPO/PVC on flat sections.
Warranty & structure
5–10 yr workmanship. Usually a certified installer for one or two manufacturers — unlocks 25–50 yr system warranties.
Materials
Consistent supply lines, dedicated estimator, project manager separate from the crew.
Best when
You want a full replacement done right the first time by a shop still around in 10 years.
Watch-outs
Ask for the certification number and verify with the manufacturer — some claims are aspirational.
Large · regional

Large regional (50+ crew, multi-office).

Fit
Complex tile, standing-seam metal, foam (SPF), spray coatings, HOA-scale, commercial, insurance-scope claims.
Warranty & structure
10-yr workmanship standard, manufacturer-backed system warranties up to lifetime. Bonded and licensed for commercial.
Materials
Multiple manufacturer certifications, in-house sheet-metal shop, dedicated safety officer.
Best when
Your job is technically complex, high-dollar, or involves an insurance adjuster and a supplement fight.
Watch-outs
You'll deal with a sales rep, not the crew lead. Ask who the on-site foreman will be — in writing.
Why a contracted bench

Contracts with roofers, no sales pressure on you.

A big directory is a lead-gen product. A contracted bench is a working relationship with accountability.
I've worked with these shops for years.

I have active contracts and long-standing working relationships with 15+ NM roofing companies. I've watched their crews tear off, flash, and handle callbacks.

The scope is written before the bid.

Bench contractors bid your written scope apples-to-apples — not their own inflated 'estimate.'

Rotation is real.

No shop gets every match. Rotation keeps the bench honest and prevents any single contractor from becoming a de-facto partner.

Post-install re-inspection available.

For an added Snapshot fee ($174 for prior clients), I re-inspect after completion. That accountability keeps bench contractors sharp.
