How we worked it.
- 1Coordinated with historic district review before scope finalized to ensure material approval.
- 2Removed and rebuilt 60 linear feet of failing parapet with matching adobe veneer.
- 3Installed SBS-modified bitumen base plus reflective granulated cap sheet (board-approved).
- 4Added through-wall flashing tied into new stucco coat at parapet-to-roof transition.
Where it landed.
Historic approval received in 3 weeks. Roof and parapets passed final inspection on first walkthrough. Leak resolved permanently. Owner retains historic character with a modern leak-proof assembly.
